Disappointed - The shoe is very cute, exactly what I was looking for in style and color. However, the leather is much harder than I expected therefore making it uncomfortable. The first time I wore them, I got several blisters.
Disappointed. I guess because of the name "Softspots" I would have thought they would be a little flexible and softer on my foot. This shoe has a very hard and rigid base and I know a lot of clogs do; I was just hoping this would be different.
Disappointed - I love the look and comfort of this shoe, but I have to tell you that my pair fell apart after three of four wears. I am not terribly hard on my shoes and I've had other Donald Pliner shoes before, so I am very sad to report this. Do not wear until you've had a heel guard put on, my heels wore the very first time I wore them all day.
Disappointed - I really liked the look of this shoe, but it was too short. I wear an 11 already, so I can't even try to go up a size.
Different-looking, comfortable, casual sandal - This sandal was as comfortable as I was hoping, but in the end, I just didn't like the style enough. The mottled leather is cool looking (though not great looking against my pale winter feet!), but what you can't really tell from the picture is that the instep strap is velcro. It looks fine if your instep is low enough that the velcro is hidden, but mine isn't and it gave the whole sandal too casual a look to have it showing for what I wanted. I would definitely recommend that someone looking for a casual, comfortable and different-looking sandal try this one out. My feet are between a 9 and a 9-1/2 and the 40 would have fit perfectly.
Didn't last, not comfrtable - I replaced a pair of Timberland Pro with Titan toe that I had for 2 years. I was very happy with them, especially given the harsh conditions. I am in much less harsh conditions now, and wearing the last pair of these boots for 10 hours/day, they wore out in less than 6 months. After a week, I knew the quality was not what I expected, as I started looking for insoles due to a lack of any kind of support. They never did get comfortable, and after the sides of my feet started burning, I looked at the soles to find that they are separating and just worn out in some spots. My only positive comments is that they look nice, and are lightweight. But that doesn't matter if they hurt.
Did not last ? delaminated in nine months. This was a nice looking shoe that fit well but I am very disappointed that both shoes have the bottom coming apart in the same place after 9 months of very gentle use. I have had less expensive Sperry shoes last much longer.
