Cutest Shoe EVER! I bought the Woodby with the cat. As always, the shoe is comfortable, but it's the most adorable thing ever as well. People comment on my shoes constantly. I have a wide foot, and buying a narrow didn't make a difference, so don't be afraid to try the narrow if they don't have regular in your size.
Cuter in the photo, uncomfortable. These are definitely cuter in the photo. I didn't think they looked as good when I had them on. They are also not very comfortable. No arch support at all what-so-ever, and the soles are pretty thin... the material is somewhat itchy if you ask me. The part on my inner ankle rubbed up against the bone and was uncomfortable.
Cute, versatile, high-heel looking wedge. This shoe is great for dressing up or dressing down. It needs to be said that it does not look right with a full-length skinny jean, but don't let that discourage you from considering this shoe for capris or for skirts of all lengths. It's so cute that I want it in both brown and black (I only bought it in black), yet it's so distinctive that I worry people will notice that I have the same shoe in different colors. I have a wide foot, and it fits great. I'm also not interested in heels for daily wear now that I am chasing after my toddler and running mundane errands all the time, but the J-41 Madrid looks like a heel while offering the stability and comfort of a wedge. Finally, as a connoisseur of vegan shoes, I love the material of this shoe- it does not look cheap and is pliable enough, just like leather.
Cute, nice detail, well-made, comfortable -- although for me, smaller than marked. Would recommend considering a size up, as I did. As always, terrific customer service!
Cute, Cute, Cute - Bought these in the pink and they are sleek looking on the foot and very comfortable. When I first tried them on the piece between the toes was a little stiff, but after working with them a little they are just right. I'm going to purchase the white after finishing typing this review. Wish I didn't have so many black sandals or I would purchase them too.
Cute, comfortable, but my heels... ouch! That pretty much sums it up. These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I marked "half size larger" because I bought an 8.5 and have since been wearing a 9 and they still feel like they fit.
Cute, but not that comfortable - I really love the look of these shoes, but as another reviewer mentioned, the buckle on the left side scratches my ankle. After looking closely I noticed the elastic holding it on is already broken (buckle is poking through) and needs to be repaired. So, I will be returning these shoes. If it had not been for this, I would have loved them - comfortable shoe considering they are much higher heels than I normally wear.
