Best shoe ever for feet that swell - The two-way velcro adjustment and stretch band across the instep make it possible for me to wear these no matter what. My feet/ankles swell and recede like the tides, especially in summer, depending on allergies, weather and medications. This shoe comes in wide sizes and can be adjusted to accommodate anything. Good support and stability, extremely comfortable--I bought these when I was dealing with a painful ingrown toenail and needed the open toe; the toenail healed, and I'm still wearing them. The removable/washable lining is something every sandal should have. I usually wear 8 1/2s, but an 8 in this shoe works for me.
